Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) - Bilingual (Spanish)
Location: Belmont, CA (Two school sites: Elementary & Middle School)
Schedule: 35 hours/week
Pay Rate: $40-$45 /hour
Start Date: ASAP
Caseload: TBD
Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) to join our team and support students in achieving their communication goals. In this role, you will work under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide speech and language services in educational settings. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate professional who enjoys working with children and making a meaningful impact.
Key Responsibilities
+ Assist the supervising SLP in implementing individualized treatment plans.
+ Provide direct therapy services to students as directed by the SLP.
+ Document student progress and maintain accurate records.
+ Support classroom teachers and staff in implementing communication strategies.
+ Ensure compliance with all state, federal, and district regulations.
Minimum Requirements
+ Graduate of an SLPA program with an associate's degree OR bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
+ Completion of 100 hours of supervised fieldwork or equivalent clinical experience.
+ Current SLPA certification or licensure in California.
+ Compliance with professional standards of practice.
+ TB questionnaire, PPD, or chest X-ray (if applicable).
+ Current health certificate (per contract or state regulation).
+ Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements.
+ At least 18 years of age.
+ One (1) year of prior SLPA experience preferred.
+ Bilingual in Spanish (Required).

+ Two school sites: one elementary and one middle school.
+ Caseload will be determined upon assignment.
