We are hiring for a Research Associate to join the Behavioral Pharmacology/SmartCube team at PsychoGenics. SmartCube is an automated testing platform that presents a sequence of challenges to a mouse through its customized hardware and it incorporates computer vision and AI to process and analyze massive temporal and vectoral datasets (more than half a million data points per mouse per session). The SmartCube platform uses propriety bioinformatics and probability causal inference algorithms to detect and assess the potential of compounds to treat psychiatric disorders in an unbiased way by comparing their complex behavioral profiles with those from a proprietary reference database at the drug class and subclass level. The SmartCube team works closely with several groups within the company to advance early-stage drug discovery. As a Research Assoicate, you'll have the opportunity to gain broad experience in behavioral pharmacology research and contribute to the advancement of novel compounds that aim to treat a variety of psychiatric disorders.
