The Political Science/History Department Office is looking for a work study student to join our team beginning in the Winter 2026 Term.Department: Political Science & History Departments
Location: Lippman Hall
Supervisors name: Bella Rodriguez
Hours/ Shifts Available : M-F 8:30-4:30 (preferred Tuesday Thursday availability in Winter 2026 Term)
Rate of Pay : $9.70/hr
Number of Positions available: 1
Essential Responsibilities and Duties:
Provide clerical support to administrative assistant and department faculty
Assist with copying scanning receiving and sorting mail
Department Marketing: help create social media posts and marketing materials to advertise department courses/events and post materials around campus
Qualifications:
Current Union College Student
Basic knowledge of Microsoft and/or Google applications
Knowledge of Canva or Adobe Express (or other applications) to create social media posts and flyers
Communication skills
Adaptability to changing demands based on office traffic
Location: Schenectady NY
