Summary: Under the supervision of the Home Health Care Supervisor, the Home Health Aide is responsible for providing various tasks such as personal care, housekeeping, range of motion exercises, medication prompts, meal preparation, and companionship to patients in their homes in accordance with an established care plan.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities:
Mandated Reporter: Must become a mandated reporter prior to having contact with children in a job-related capacity and maintain that status throughout employment. This includes completing any necessary training and adhering to all reporting obligations as defined by applicable laws and tribal policies.
Supervisory Responsibilities: There are no supervisor requirements for this position.

Due to the sensitive nature of information obtained, must maintain strict confidentiality at all times. Able to lift more than 50 pounds and stand for extensive periods of time.
Education And/or Experience:
Preferred - Personal Support Worker or Home Health Aide Certification.
Other Skills and Abilities: Communication both orally and written, Mohawk language and traditions are preferred, physically able to carry out the duties of the position, and maintain confidentiality.
Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license in accordance with the Saint Regis Mohawk Tribe’s Fleet Policy.
The successful candidate must pass a drug test and background check prior to employment.
