Salary Range: $80,000 – $120,000 per year
A well-established and growing Commercial Construction Company is seeking an experienced Superintendent to join its Richmond-based team. This is a direct hire opportunity for a driven construction professional who excels in a fast-paced field environment and is committed to delivering projects safely, on time, and within budget.
The Superintendent will play a key leadership role on-site, coordinating daily operations, managing subcontractors, and ensuring quality workmanship throughout all phases of construction.
Oversee and manage day-to-day jobsite operations for commercial construction projects
Ensure all work complies with safety standards, inspections, and company policies
Coordinate, schedule, and supervise subcontractors to maintain project timelines
Track project progress and update schedules to meet deadlines
Review drawings and specifications and implement updates as project changes occur
Verify pricing accuracy and assist with maintaining project budgets
Communicate effectively with project managers, inspectors, and other stakeholders
Proven experience as a Superintendent in commercial construction or a related trade
Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Ability to manage multiple subcontractors and jobsite priorities
Basic computer skills, including scheduling, documentation, and communication tools
Ability to work efficiently in a field-based environment
