The Illinois Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity (DCEO) is seeking a highly skilled CEJA Capacity Grant Manager (Senior Public Service Administrator) to join the Office of Energy & Business Utility. This position plays a pivotal role in driving meaningful change by supporting small businesses, community-based organizations, and stakeholders in environmental justice and R3 communities. As a key team member, you will leverage your administrative expertise to build and strengthen partnerships with community organizations, funding partners, and industry leaders. Term Appointment:
Candidates hired into a term position shall be appointed for a term of 4 years and are subject to a probationary period. The term may be renewed for successive four-year terms at the Director of the Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity’s discretion.

The Illinois Governmental Ethics Act (5 ILCS 420/4A et seq.) requires certain state officials and employees to file annual Statement of Economic Interest with the Office of Secretary of State that will be made available for examination and copying by the public. All employees required to file a Statement of Economic Interest are also required to file the Supplemental Statement of Economic Interest with the Executive Ethics Commission.
